With the property prices increase rapidly every year, many people cannot buy a house in Beijing. There are some data reflects that property prices between 2010 and 2015.
Due to limited economic ability, some young people can only choose to rent house. Meanwhile, with the high rents in Beijing, many people rent a room in the basement and cottage. In addition, the phenomenon of sharing house is general. Lots of people live in the humble abode that has five square meters for everyone.
"I rent a house with other people and I cannot go to the toilet before I go to the work. So I just go to toilet in the office." Said Ms. Yang who is white-collar. Miss Huang who is live in Kaixuan community she said “the public space is very dirty in the flat-share real, others usually clutter up the house. And some people do not sleep at night, they makes loudly sound."

Due to the stability of rent house cannot guarantee, a majority of people often move. "Because of I often move and I almost not buy some furniture, except clothes and electronic products." Said Mr. Zhang who cannot afford increased rent.
Housing crisis in Beijing has become the biggest problem, and it seriously affecting the living conditions of young people. It brings a huge economic pressure and psychological pressure for them. This phenomenon gives a negative impact for our social. " The young people has a huge housing pressure in Beijing, this phenomenon has become to a important social problem which affects the people's livelihood." said Chunlin Li who is a researcher in Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.
