Today we launch our new product Shorthand Social, a web based publishing tool that allows anyone to create amazing stories and promote them effortlessly on Twitter.
Every publisher wants to better engage the huge audience on Twitter. The numbers are compelling. Yet it has always been a big challenge to tell long-form on Twitter. We've seen the emergence of tweet storms and text images as proof of this demand, but these solutions have always felt like hacks in place of smarter tools. We think there must be a better way, and Shorthand Social is our solution.
Shorthand Social is very easy to use. Log in with your Twitter account, and build your story using our simple web-based editor, combining text, photos and video to create a media-rich, fully-responsive story.
When you're ready to publish the application will auto-generate tweets from your content for you to choose from – and once you hit publish, the social sharing begins, with the ability to schedule the time between each tweet.
Shorthand Social also helps you grow your audience online. If a reader likes your work, it's easy for them to follow your Twitter account from within the story.
