MoFest is an annual music festival in Montrose, Angus that aims to celebrate and promote live music. Started in 2008 by a group of local music enthusiasts the festival now sees audiences of over 12,000. The weekend sees over 100 gigs played across 25 venues encompassing all genres of music and features an open air main stage with a packed programme throughout Saturday and Sunday. 

The main stage High Street event showcases short 10 minute taster sessions of acts performing at the festival over the weekend and is where you will find an array of vendors and food stalls, children's activities and performances from local dance and theatre groups. The festival also has two huge headline acts at the East Links Arena. 

MoFest is run by a volunteer committee dedicated to the betterment of the community of Montrose and the promotion of live music. A registered charity, the team are based at MoFest HQ in New Wynd, Montrose which sees a shop selling old and new vinyl, music equipment, record players, MoFest merchandise and acts as a box office for other events locally.
