I think that I benefited from this because I learned about metal. And because it was a really cool opportunity to see some modern art, we have been studying modernism in art class. Also I think that the way that the the metal make sound and change color is really cool. And the art was very beautiful.

When I went to see the Bertoia Art, I liked the moving and the sound of the pieces and I liked the chair he made. My favorite piece was the tall one that we took a picture in front of. Thank you Celia for showing us his art. I thought it was very interesting.

Dear Celia,
Thank you for inviting us to view Henry Bertoia's art pieces The sound ambience was very interesting. They played many different moods and sounds. The sculptures and patina on them was creatively made. The final art piece on the wall, displayed different triangles, which is a nice visual. The bush, made only by grasping the essence, was beautiful.
Thank you,
Roberto

To Celia:
Thank you for letting us learn about your father Harry Bertoia. At the Bertoia house our class learned about a artist named Harry Bertoia. He made different forms of sculptures that made a musical chime. He used different materials which included bronze and metal. This benefited us by showing us a new form of art and new ways of making art that an ordinary person would not consider art. Thanks:
Clay

I liked the Bertoia exhibit because it showed me a new way of how to use metals and the sounds that they can make. I also liked it because it had many different ways of using metals and the different thickness and the length of the metals. I also thought that Celia did a wonderful job presenting.

Dear Celia,
I feel that the Bertoia experience inspired me and informed me about a new type of art. Harry Bertoia’s art was interesting and unique. I loved sounambeince and the originality of those sound sculptures. They were not only pretty sculptures but they had lots of function as well. Sounambeince was a musical piece and may be an example of something that as an equal amount of both form and function.

Dear Celia, I thought that Harry Bertoia was very interesting. I never thought of music as art, but now it seems like it is. The music was truly beautiful, and the way it works was very unique.
Thank you.

Dear Celia,
I thought that the art was amazing and learning about Harry Bertoia was very interesting. The sculptures and other versions of art there was like drawing were amazing. The sounambiance sculptures were incredible, the sounds they made were amazing and they ranged from high to low pitched but always a amazing sound. The trip was amazing and I thank you.
