Homes for Scotland Awards

Student Architectural Competition 2016

With 2016 being the year of Architecture, Design and Innovation, Homes for Scotland invites submissions from built environment students for innovative designs of a concept family house type suitable to meet future zero carbon requirements set to be introduced by 2020.

This competition provides an excellent opportunity for students to have their work judged by a panel of architecture and home building industry experts with the best entries from the open stage shortlisted and invited to present their concepts to the panel.

Finalists will be invited to attend the Homes for Scotland Annual Lunch & Awards in Edinburgh on 20 May 2016 - the premier event in the Scottish home building industry calendar attracting some 900 senior industry representatives last year, where the winner will be announced and finalists presented with their awards.
