"I feel like I'm floating in a dream"

Zoe A'dore is the new name to watch with latest single,
'Bury it'

With over 200,000 listeners on Spotify, Zoe A'dore is the new name to watch. Growing her sound in a small town outside of Perth in Western Australia Zoe has worked with big names in the industry to get her to Melbourne where she is producing her own music.

A'dores first feature release 'Shadows' with Camikaze sits with almost 1.5 million views on YouTube and launched her music career in 2016.

The first song, 'Shadows' was released through a label so it was a lot easier in terms of promotion, where as 'Bury It' was released and promoted independently.

Both songs have different vibes – ‘Shadows’ is quite pretty where I feel like I’m floating in a dream where as ‘Bury It’ is more aggressive with its message and production.

The artist claims its not as easy as it seems to write and produce your own music,

A lot of hard work goes into making music, mentally and physically that doesn't get enough recognition. In saying this, I speak for anyone working in the entertainment industry as people only really see the final project.

Day in, day out artists are giving everything they have in their creative field putting their most vulnerable selves forward. And this is on top of dealing with rejection and the constant opinions of others so you need to have a thick skin and real passion for what you do.

The success of both songs has encouraged A'dore to work even harder when producing and collaborating, and even hinted that there is more to come later in the year.

When asked what she hopes to bring to the music industry A'dore described her music as:

[Music] represents me in the best possible way...that's relatable... I like to think of my music visually just like when you read a book and let your imagination run wild.
I hope my music evokes strong feelings within people with the stories I tell – and provides those lush pop beats to dance to!

As with any successful artist, Zoe A'dore has a world of wisdom to offer for budding musicians,

It's important to be aware of self care as nobody knows you as well as yourself. How you take care of yourself reflects on your work and how you treat others. Also surrounding yourself with hard working and supportive people can really inspire and help you grow. I’m grateful that I have genuine friends I look up to and support me as much as I support them.
