Matt Hancock flies the flag for UK tech & digital sectors in #Davos

DCMS Secretary of State Matt Hancock was in Davos this week, meeting world leaders, tech experts and other delegates at the World Economic Forum in Switzerland.
In interviews with the media, he set out the ways in which the UK government is making the most of technological developments, including reaffirming our commitment to being the place to develop artificial intelligence, while also addressing ethical issues.
Matt Hancock met Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg and Ken Hu, Chief Executive of Huawei, promoting the UK's tech sector, which is growing at twice the rate of the rest of the UK economy.
The Prime Minister outlined
the UK Digital Charter that sets
out our ambition to be the best
place in the world to start and
grow a digital business and the
safest place to be online.
