Fruit Focus 2015

Providing innovative solutions for fruit growers.

Fruit Focus is one of the leading exhibitions for fruit growers of all kinds in the UK. With its specific focus towards winemaking in its 'Vines to Wines' section, it's often a favourite for winemakers, particularly those in the south east of England.

We would like to thank all of those who came to visit us at Fruit Focus, and hope that everyone enjoyed the day as much as we did!

In 2015 we had the privilege and excitement of exhibiting some fantastic equipment at Fruit Focus. This included a small Europress pneumatic grape press from Scharfenberger, an innovative flotation unit from Juclas-Vason, and our main feature for the show - a mobile disgorging-dosing line from the renowned Valentin Thierion, manufacturers of high quality production equipment for sparkling wine producers.

Mobile Disgorging Line for Sparkling Wine

Including Disgorging-Dosing Machine, Corking & Wiring machine, Cork Distributor, and Mixing Machine.
Fully Automated.

The mobile disgorging-dosing unit from Valentin received much interest and attention throughout the day at Fruit Focus. Although the mobile trailer setup may not have been what most winemakers have in mind, the 700 bottle-per-hour mobile unit showcased the excellent sparkling wine production equipment manufactured by Valentin. All of the machinery on the trailer is perfectly suited to static installation in the winery.

The mobile unit consists of four main machines. The DD700-SA automatic disgorging-dosing machine, the Franval automatic corking-wiring machine, an automated cork orientation and distribution machine, and the AG4 4-bottle automatic mixing machine. These machines provide an ideal set up for the medium to large sized sparkling wine producer looking for an automated disgorging-dosing line. For more information on the machines included on the mobile unit, see our website here.

Also on the Core stand at Fruit Focus was a small model from the Europress range. The high quality German Engineering found in the pneumatic grape press range from Scharfenberger is a favourite of winemakers across the globe. Manufacturing pnemuatic grape presses right up to 320 hectolitres and above, Scharfenberger are best known for the quality of their machinery, and for there flexibility in meeting winemakers' demands.

The Europress range offers a high quality pneumatic grape press to meet the needs of all winemakers, from large to small. The Europress provides a range of highly innovative features such as inert gas and closed-style presses.

Juclas-Vason, a newer partner of Core Equipment, were also in attendance on the Core stand. They brought along their new and innovative flotation unit, a pre-fermentation clarification method to remove impurities from the grape must. Jason-Vason also manufacture high-quality crossflow filtration units, which are available in a range of different sizes ideally suited to winemakers both large and small.

We look forward to returning to Fruit Focus again in 2016!
