Core Equipment is proud to be one of the annual sponsors of The National Fruit Show. For those who don't know, the show is the biggest exhibition for fruit growers in the UK so is definitely worth a visit in order to find out the latest in fruit processing, growing and consuming. In addition there is always the opportunity to sample products, listen to key speeches, participate in raffles, win wonderful prizes and of course… the show dinner.
This year Core was positioned on stand K23 opposite the competition entries giving us a great view of the judging. The event always provides us with a great opportunity to understand what current customers and potential customer’s plans are and helps us give detailed, personal advice on how to fulfil these. To all of those who visited our stand we would like to say a huge thank you and it was lovely to see you.
We had many enquiries regarding fruit pureeing as fruit growers are increasingly investing in new ways to profit from their leftover fruits. This isn’t to say that juice production equipment wasn’t also popular as it is, after all, a very good way of making those second-class fruits into something profitable. We had questions from those looking to start up production as well as those looking to expand on current lines so no matter how big or small we are happy to help.
On the Wednesday evening we attended the show dinner as we have done every year since we started exhibiting at the National Fruit Show. The evening started with a drinks reception of sparkling wine provided by our very own customer, Chapel Down. Its always great to be able to enjoy our customers produce.
Finally, we would like to give our congratulations to all the winners and especially to the very lucky winners of a trip for two to Africa. That's definitely a prize to be proud of. We would very much encourage anyone with prize winning fruit to enter the competitions next year, especially with amazing prizes like that up for grabs.
