Embed a launchpad to your Shorthand Social story in your own site

We're passionate about making sure your story gets the amplification it needs to reach those readers who'll find it of interest and/or helpful.

It's why we've built in the auto-generation of media-rich tweets for your Shorthand Stories, to help you share stories more easily, but also effectively, with your established networks.

And so, if you've already set up your own site or blog where you're engaging with an existing community of readers, we want to help you signpost them to your Shorthand Social stories.

That's why we have introduced our story launchpad embed feature to Shorthand Social.

Ok, great. How do I do it?

Once you have published a story in Shorthand Social, you'll see the option to 'embed' offered in a pop-up that appears. You can also go back and grab the embed code later, either in your account dashboard or back within the story (in edit mode).

Copy the HTML code provided, and then embed this on your own site to add the launchpad, which contains:

– the Title section image
– your story title
– Twitter and Facebook share buttons (with live count)
– the Shorthand Social logo
– a 'VIEW STORY' button, that links to your story on Shorthand.

See the example below, which I have embedded into this Shorthand story:
